GCUB General Assembly
University presidents, rectors, and institutional leaders from GCUB's member network — convening in Kigali, October 2027, inside the Knowledge Crossroads Week.
A strategic forum, not a ceremony
The General Assembly is a working forum for governance, planning, mobility, and international cooperation across GCUB — the Grupo de Cooperação Internacional de Universidades Brasileiras — and its partner institutions across the Global South.
Hosting the Assembly in Kigali is itself the point: Brazilian and African higher education leadership in one room, with the Crossroads Week's policy dialogues, innovation forums, and cultural programming around them.
What it produces
- Academic mobility agreements and pilot schemes in priority disciplines
- Joint supervision and tuition-cooperation models
- Collaborative research agendas across the Atlantic
- Institutional MoUs signed during the Week
