Why GPS
Reparations sits at the exact intersection GPS is built for: scholarship that must reach policy, memory that must meet institutions, and a conversation that spans Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the diasporas. The initiative draws on the Knowledge pillar for research, the Policy pillar for government engagement, and the Caribbean hub in Martinique for regional grounding.
The program of work — research consortium, first policy outputs, and dialogue series — is being scoped with partners through 2026–27.
